Sleep Travel Kit

Babies have shorter sleep cycles than you. Most adults sleep cycle lasts about 90 minutes going from light sleep deep sleep, and then back to light sleep. A baby "sleep cycle is shorter than an adult, with a duration of about 50 to 60 minutes, what the experience of a vulnerable period for awake at night every hour or less.

In his first months sleeping babies pass through an initial phase light sleep that lasts about twenty minutes or more, little by little will be in deep sleep. After about an hour, your baby will re-enter light sleep phase. You can wander around a bit, his eyelids flutter, and could feel his breathing change. This is when many babies are awake.

The thing to remember is that when babies are very young they need to tend to them at night. They have to feed them, modifying them (I would not like to sleep in a damp and cold inside!) stuff it again, and maybe just needs a little peace and comfort of mum or dad.

I think sometimes new parents can be a bit overwhelmed by all the advice on what your baby would be doing. And it often feels as if in a certain competition of "who is the better parent." I can say that some parents tend to exaggerate the time your baby sleeps. And if you say something … the baby slept through the overnight as 6 weeks old, you know, or are very lucky, or lying!

In the first three months, babies seldom sleep more than four hours without to be fed. Small babies tummy and therefore often have to be fed. But usually sleep with a 14-18 total days and hours.

Three to six months, babies after they are longer and have more active periods during the day and sleeping about five hours at a time overnight. You can expect your baby to create one or two times during the night. About three to six months you should see the long period of deep sleep. The lighter sleep and awake at night and begin to reverse the babies are able to sleep more quickly. This is called sleep maturity.

Remember that habits Your baby's sleep to do with your baby's temperament rather than the skills of their parents.
